HHR Bid Due Date for Phase 2 to be extended until 2010
Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) has agreed to extend the Bid Due Date for Phase 2 of Haramain High Speed Railway Project (HHR) connecting the two Holy cities Makkah and Madinah via Jeddah until 1st May 2010. According to H.E. Abdulaziz Al Hokail, President of SRO, said that a number of consortiums called for the extension of the period granted to them to submit their technical and financial proposals, which was scheduled to take place by end of February.
