  Receipt of Statements of Qualification
  The Saudi Railways Organization is proud to announce that an important milestone has been reached in the Railway Expansion Program with the receipt of Statements of Qualification (SOQ’s) from nine consortia hoping to pre-qualify for participation in the tender process for the Saudi Landbridge project.

  The Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) is currently finalizing plans for the procurement of the Makkah-Madinah Rail Link (MMRL) which will be undertaken by way of a tender for a BOT (build-operate-transfer) concession. SRO has engaged internationally renowned advisors such as SNCF International, UBS and Linklaters to support SRO during the pre-bid process.

  Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) today announced a Project Day for the Saudi Landbridge to be held in London on 31st January 2005. Dr. Jobara Al-Suraisry, Minister of Transport and Chairman of SRO's Board of Directors will preside over the proceedings of the Project Day.
