The railway handles about 850,000 passengers and 850 million ton-kms of cargo every year, of which
about 80% is container traffic from Dammam to
Riyadh and back. SRO transported about 108,000
TEUs in 2002.
SRO also owns and manages Riyadh Dry Port. |
